Brand and website

Kanchh is a glass-manufacturing brand with an established reputation, built on the quality and range of its toughened and architectural glass. We were engaged to give it a proper identity and an online presence to match — a logo built from scratch and a website to carry it.

That reputation had, until now, lived almost entirely offline. Increasingly, the specifiers, dealers and buyers who source glass begin on the web, and there was little for them to find, which quietly ceded ground to more visible competitors.

We designed the brand mark first, then built the website around it: a structured presentation of the product range, the applications it serves, and the reasons to trust it, so a prospective buyer can evaluate Kanchh online the way they once would have in person.

A logo built from scratch and a website to carry it — an established glass business, finally as credible online as it is off it.

02

An offline-only business

Kanchh had two gaps rather than one. It had no distinct brand identity to signal quality at a glance, and no website through which buyers could find and evaluate it — a serious disadvantage in a technical, specification-driven category.

Glass buyers want to understand the range, the grades and the applications before they make contact. Without a mark that reads as credible and a site that lays the range out clearly, a strong manufacturer can look absent to exactly the people evaluating suppliers.

The brief was to close both gaps together: create an identity that communicates quality instantly, and a website that reflects the business’s standing and makes its range easy to evaluate online.

03

Mark, then site

We started with the logo, designing a mark that signals the quality and solidity the products stand for, and refining it into a small identity system the brand could apply consistently.

The website was then built around that mark and around how a glass buyer actually evaluates a supplier — product range first, then applications, grades and the credibility signals that build trust. The content and architecture were built for search from the outset, and the design kept clean so the products lead.

A few principles kept the work honest:

  • A logo designed from scratch to signal quality
  • A small, consistent identity system around the mark
  • A website structured around how buyers evaluate suppliers
  • The range, applications and grades presented clearly
  • SEO considered from the architecture upward
  • A clean design that lets the products lead
04

A front door online

The result is a coherent brand and a credible website that together give Kanchh a real front door online. The mark gives the business a recognisable identity; the site lets a specifier or dealer find the brand, understand the range and evaluate its fit before ever picking up the phone.

Because the site is structured and search-ready, it also puts the brand in front of buyers who are actively searching — capturing demand that previously flowed to more visible competitors.

What we delivered:

  • A logo and brand identity built from scratch
  • A clear, credible website for the full glass range
  • Product, application and grade presentation for buyers
  • An SEO-ready structure built to be found
  • A considered design reflecting the brand's standing
  • An online front door for specifiers and dealers
05

What the work changed

Kanchh now has an identity that signals quality on sight and a website that reflects its offline reputation. Buyers who begin on the web find a manufacturer they can recognise, evaluate and trust, rather than a gap where a supplier should be.

The effect is a business that competes online as strongly as it does off it:

  • A distinct brand identity where there was none
  • An offline reputation matched by an online presence
  • The range made legible to specifiers and dealers
  • The brand findable for the terms buyers search
  • Credibility established with first-time visitors
  • Demand captured that once went to competitors
06

Credible on the web

Kanchh shows how much an offline-strong business can gain by becoming both recognisable and legible online. The reputation was already there; the identity and website give buyers a way to find, recognise and evaluate it.

Built for search and structured around how buyers assess a supplier, the site works as a genuine channel rather than a brochure.

What the brand now holds is a coherent identity and a credible presence on the web — one that matches its standing and turns online interest into real enquiries.

The result in motion

The Kanchh identity, in motion

The identity system unpacked — the monogram drawn from stacked glass edges, the blue palette, the Alterwave and Inter type pairing, and the mark applied across the Kanchh Industries plant.
Testimonials

Don't take our word for it - take theirs

Our name was built offline, over years, but buyers increasingly start on the web — and there was nothing there for them. Externo gave us a proper identity and a website that presents our glass range the way it deserves. It reads as credible to the specifiers and dealers we work with, and it has given the business a real front door online.
